Ainekset

  • 1 brown onion - diced

  • 1 carrot - diced

  • 500g lamb mince

  • 2 tbsp plain flour

  • 1 cup beef stock

  • 1 dried bay leaf

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

  • 400g can diced tomatoes

  • 800g sweet potatoes

  • 40g butter

  • ½ cup frozen peas

Ohjeet

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over mid-high heat.

  2. Add onion & carrot and cook for 5 mins or until soft.

  3. Add lamb mince and cook until browned.

  4. Add flour and stir until combined.

  5. Add stock, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste & diced tomatoes. Bring to the boil then reduce heat to low for 30 mins while stirring occasionally.

  6. In another pot, boil potatoes until soft. Drain and add butter. Mash then set aside.

  7. Preheat oven to 200°c.

  8. Add peas to the mixture and stir.

  9. Spoon mixture into ovenproof dish. Top with mashed potato and evenly spread over the mixture. Cover with cheese and bake for 20 mins or until golden.
