DEEP AUTUMN GIN SMASH

1 oz Empress 1908 Indigo Gin

½ oz Raspberry Liqueur

6 Blackberries

1 Small Plum, pitted

⅓ cup Purple Grapes

¼ oz Lemon Juice

Purple Basil Flowers, to garnish

METHOD: In a shaker, add the plum, blackberries, and grapes. Smash the fruit with a muddler until juices are released. Add Empress 1908 Indigo Gin, raspberry liquor, and lemon juice to the shaker along with a handful of ice. Shake for 30 seconds then pour through a fine mesh sieve into a cocktail glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a sprig of flowered purple basil and a blackberry.

Alternatively, place all ingredients in a blender and pulse until fruit is finely broken up. Strain liquid into a cocktail glass filled with crushed ice and garnish.
