Cuban Mojo Marinated Beef

1 ½ pounds flank steak or skirt steak

1 cup orange juice

½ cup lime juice

1/4 cup olive oil

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Make the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Marinate the Beef: Place the beef in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the beef. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight for more flavor).

Preheat Grill: When ready to cook, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Grill the Beef: Remove the beef from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Grill the beef for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

Rest the Meat: Transfer the beef to a cutting board and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Serve: Slice the beef against the grain and sprinkle with fresh cilantro. Serve it with rice, beans, or your favorite sides!
