Absinthe Colada

After being banned for nearly 100 years, @absinthe_absente was the first absinthe allowed to be sold again in the US.

Absente is handcrafted in the French Alps and has a sweet and slightly spiced flavor with notes of anise and mint. It pairs beautifully with both pineapple and coconut and this Pina Colada riff did not disappoint!

Absinthe Colada

1 oz Absente Absinthe

1 oz white rum

1 ½ oz pineapple juice

3/4 oz cream of coconut

1/2 oz lime juice

Ohjeet

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a glass filled with crushed or pebble ice. Garnish with pineapple and mint.
