Melting Chocolate and Cream: In a bowl suitable for microwave use, combine 2 cups of white chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons of heavy cream. Heat the mixture in the microwave for 30-second intervals at half power. After each interval, stir thoroughly until the mixture achieves a smooth and creamy consistency.

Incorporating Blue Curacao: Once the chocolate mixture is smooth, add 2 tablespoons of blue curacao. Stir the mixture until the blue curacao is fully integrated into the chocolate.

Chilling the Mixture: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for approximately two hours. This step is crucial to ensure the mixture attains a firm consistency suitable for forming truffles.

Preparation for Rolling: After the refrigeration period, prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. In a separate shallow bowl, pour 1/2 cup of sanding sugar.

Forming Truffles: Measure out heaping teaspoons of the chilled chocolate mixture. Roll the measured chocolate into balls, and then roll these balls in the sanding sugar until they are fully coated.

Setting the Truffles: Place the sugar-coated truffles on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Once all the truffles are formed and placed on the sheet, refrigerate the tray for an additional hour to allow the truffles to set properly.
