Pumpkin Bread

2/3 cup Shortening
2 2/3 cup Sugar
4 Eggs
16oz Canned Pumpkin
2/3 cup Water
3 1/3 cup Flour
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp Ground Cloves
2/3 cup coarsely chopped nuts (optional)
2/3 cup raisins (optional)
Instrucciones
Preheat oven to 350⁰F. Grease bottoms only of 2 9x5x3 loaf pans, or 3 8.5x4.5x2.5 loaf pans.
Mix shortening and sugar. Add eggs, water, and pumpkin. Blend in flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and cloves. Stir in nuts and raisins.
Pour into pans and bake for about 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 200-205⁰F. Cool slightly before removing from pans.
