16 oz (sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes)
1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp cornstarch
3 cups day-old rice
4 cloves garlic (finely minced)
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
Crispy onions
Scallions
Instrucciones
Place the cubed sirloin in a bowl and marinate with Shaoxing wine, salt, and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
While the beef marinates, finely mince the garlic.
In a small bowl, combine dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and Shaoxing wine. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a bit of oil. Add the beef and sear until browned on all sides, then remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add in the day-old rice, followed by the cooked beef and sauce. Toss everything together until the sauce is fully absorbed and evenly coats the rice.
Transfer to a bowl and optionally garnish with crispy onions and scallions.
