Mango Scotch Bonnet Fire Sauce

Ingredientes

1 large ripe mango, peeled and chopped

2 Scotch bonnet peppers, seeded (or keep seeds for extra heat)

1/4 cup white vinegar

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1 clove garlic

1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons water (adjust as needed)

Instrucciones

Add mango, Scotch bonnet peppers, vinegar, lime juice, honey, garlic, turmeric, allspice, salt, and water to a blender.

Blend until completely smooth. Add a bit more water if the sauce is too thick.

Pour into a small saucepan and simmer over low heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Let cool, then transfer to a sterilized jar or bottle.

For best flavor, refrigerate for a few hours before using.

Storage Information

Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Shake before use.
