Maple Sriracha Roasted Cauliflower

Ingredientes

1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1–2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust for spice level)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari

1 teaspoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or cilantro (for garnish)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instrucciones

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, maple syrup, sriracha, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss well until all the pieces are evenly coated with the sauce.

Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding so the cauliflower roasts instead of steaming.

Roast for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the cauliflower is tender and the edges are slightly crispy and caramelized.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley or cilantro and sesame seeds if using.

Serving Suggestions

Serve as a healthy side dish, add to grain bowls, stuff into wraps, or enjoy as a flavorful vegetarian appetizer.

Tip

For extra caramelization, broil the cauliflower for the last 2–3 minutes.
