Creepy Cockroach Cakes

Ingredientes

Trader Joe’s mini sheet cake - vanilla chantilly

Pitted Dates

Small chocolate bar

Chocolate chips

Instrucciones

Remove your cake from the tray and smooth the frosting out.

*My tip for that smooth finish is to run your cake spatula under hot water to warm it up. Dry it off and then do your final smoothing of the cake.

Cut your cake into six even slices and top each cake with a date. Add one chocolate chip to the front of each date for the head. Melt your chocolate and pour it into a plastic sandwich bag. Twist lightly and snip a tiny corner off.

Pipe each of the legs to make your date look like a cockroach (don't forget antennae off the head!)
