My Fav Strawberry Cocktail. Works with Tequila, Mezcal… Even

Strawberry Fields 🍓

2 oz tequila or mezcal

3/4 oz fresh lime juice

1/2 oz simple syrup

1/2 oz elderflower liqueur

2 strawberries, stems removed and muddled

2-3 cucumber slices, muddled

Pinch sea salt

Sliced strawberry garnish

Instrucciones

Muddle strawberry and cucumber together in a shaker until pulverized. Add all remaining ingredients along with ice.

Shake to chill and FINE STRAIN into a chilled coupe or over a large ice cube in a double old fashioned glass. Your mesh strainer will likely fill with pulp, stirring with a spoon or muddler helps push the last ounce through.

Note, you can also macerate strawberries with sugar and make a strawberry infused simple syrup. This requires overnight maceration in fridge.
