Banana Cream Cake*

Ingredientes

2-1/4 cups sifted cake flour

1-1/4 cups sugar

1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup vegetable shortening

2 eggs

1-1/2 cups mashed bananas (4-5 bananas)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whipped cream

Instrucciones

Sift together first five ingredients into large bowl

Drop in shortening, eggs, and 1/2 of bananas

Beat at low speed for 2 minutes

Add remaining bananas and vanilla; beat 1 minute

Pour into (2) 8" pans

Bake at 375 for 25 minutes

Frost with whipped cream and bananas
