32 fl oz chicken broth (1 carton)
1lb chicken breast raw
2 tbsp AP flour
3 medium carrots
2 celery stalks
1/2 yellow onion
1 oz heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp salt
DUMPLINGS
100g AP flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
4 tbsp salted butter
4 fl oz heavy cream
Instrucciones
SOUP
clean chicken and slice thinly
weigh & season (1 tsp poultry seasoning & salt (light))
heat olive oil in pot
fry chicken 5 min both sides on 5 heat
trim veggies, peel
wash and halve
dice into small pieces
remove chicken and let cool
melt butter
add carrots, celery, and onion
add salt (light) and poultry seasoning
stir, cover, cook 5 min
prep dumplings (see below)
uncover, add 1 carton broth
increase to high heat
shred chicken into pot by hand
bring to boil, then simmer
add heavy cream
add dumplings on top using 2 spoons
cook covered on gentle simmer for 15 min
(don’t uncover)
DUMPLINGS
combine dry ingredients in a bowl
chop butter into small pieces
combine with gloved hands
stir in cream
allow to rest
