Buffalo One-pan Chicken Alfredo

2 lbs chicken breast, pounded to 1/4 inch thickness
10 oz dry pasta (fettuccine, mafaldine, etc.)
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 ½ cups chicken broth
2 ½ cups milk (room temperature)
1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
4 oz cream cheese (cut into cubes, room temperature)
3 tablespoons Italian seasoning (divided)
2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
4 green onions, sliced

Season chicken with most of the Italian seasoning, reserving 1 teaspoon.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes on one side, flip, reduce heat to low, and cook another 4-5 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F.
Remove and tent with foil.
In the same skillet, melt butter and cook garlic for 1 minute. Add chicken broth, milk, buffalo sauce, and remaining seasoning. Bring to a low boil.
Add pasta, submerge in the liquid, and simmer for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Stir in cream cheese until melted, then add parmesan and green onions.
Top with sliced chicken and drizzle with more buffalo sauce if desired.
