Street Pork Taco Meat

3-4 lb pork loin roast

1 small onion,diced

1 pkg taco mix

1 pkg ranch mix

1 16oz jar Herdez salsa Verde, mild

Brown pork loin in skillet or crockpot if it has saute function. Add onions to bottom of crockpot.

Top with roast.

Coat on all sides with seasoning packets. Top with entire jar of salsa.

Cover. Cook on high 1 hour then low for 6-8 hours. Or high for 4 hours

Shred meat and return to juices in pot.

Serve on small corn tortillas

I recommend using a pot liner bag. And the longer lower setting yields very tender meat where the quicker method makes for a tougher meat.

Good with a side of Mexican rice
