Cabbage Jeon (Korean pancake)
Ingredients (1 serving)
1/4 head of cabbage
4 tablespoons of pancake mix (or flour)
1 egg
A pinch of salt
A pinch of pepper
60ml water
2 handfuls of mozzarella cheese (optional)
For the dipping sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon water
Anweisungen
Thinly slice the cabbage.
Slice any leftover vegetables if you have them and add them in (optional).
In a bowl, combine the cabbage and all other ingredients, and mix lightly.
Heat a pan on medium heat, add oil, and pour the batter into the pan. Press down gently to flatten.
Once one side is golden brown, flip it over and cook the other side until golden.
Dip the jeon into the prepared dipping sauce and enjoy!
