Sesame & Chive Crusted Salmon Crudo...this Thing Is Honestly

Zutaten

8 oz sushi grade salmon.

3 tbsp chives.

3 tbsp black sesame seeds.

3 tbsp toasted sesame seeds.

Sliced serranos.

1 large shallot (thinly sliced).

1/4 cup rice vin.

3 tbsp cane sugar.

2 ½ tbsp tamari or soy sauce.

Oil for frying the shallot.

Anweisungen

Mix the sesame seeds and chives in a plate.

Brush your salmon with a mixture of honey and soy sauce.

Firmly press the salmon onto the sesame seeds and chives. Place in the freezer for 15 min.

Pat dry the shallots and add to a cold pan. Coat with oil. Turn on to medium heat until golden.

Add the soy sauce, rice vin and sugar to a sauce pan and simmer until it very lightly coats the back of a spoon. About 3-5 min. Let it cool over an ice bath.

Slice the fish kinda thick.

Add the sauce on a plate, top with fish, shallots and serranos.
