The Perfect Pita Bread Recipe Doesn’t Exis

160 ml water
3 ½ instant yeast
7g sugar
250g t55 bread flour
1/2 tsp salt
Anweisungen
Add all dry ingredients to a bowl and mix.
Then add the water and knead until the dough is completely smooth and you may as well do a windowpane test if you can.
Rest for 1-1.5 hours or until doubled.
Degas, divide into 4 equal portions and shape into balls.
Place them on a floured baking sheet, cover and rest for 10-15 mins.
Sprinkle flour on your counter and roll them until 3-4 mm thick. Cover and rest again for 10-15 mins.
Preheat your pan until it’s ripping hot, then check by doing a water test. The water should form droplets.
Place the bread and cook for 10 secs then keep flipping it every 10-15 secs until golden on both sides.
