What If We Made Trader Joe's Apple Cider Donuts a Cocktail

I swear in the fall I'm making weekly trips to Trader Joe's to buy ALL the fall treats. They're just so good! I picked up a box of their apple cider donuts on my last trip and thought, "what if this was a cocktail?"

I have this bottle of spiced rum that has been sitting on my bar for a while (if you have a favorite drink that uses spices rum please send it my way). I thought a daiquiri would be appropriate here.

APPLE CIDER DONUT DAIQUIRI

1-1/2 oz spiced rum

1 oz apple cider

1 oz Demerara syrup

1/2 oz lemon juice

Rim a coupe glass with cinnamon sugar and chill. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake for 8-10 seconds. Strain into your chilled coupe and enjoy!
