Crispy Cheesy Baked Hot Dogs

3 hot dogs

3 hot dog buns or small sandwich rolls

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tbsp butter, melted

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

1 tbsp chopped parsley

Optional: 2 tbsp marinara or pizza sauce

Anweisungen

Preheat the Oven

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Prepare the Buns

Place hot dog buns on the baking tray and gently open them. Brush the inside lightly with melted butter mixed with garlic powder.

Add the Hot Dogs

Place one hot dog in each bun. Spoon a little marinara or pizza sauce over the hot dog if using.

Add the Cheese

Top generously with shredded mozzarella and cheddar, covering the hot dog and bun edges.

Bake

Bake for 12–15 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.

Finish & Serve

Sprinkle with parsley and a pinch of oregano. Serve hot while the cheese is gooey and the buns are crispy.
