Next Level Ranch Water with @lalospirits

A Ranch Water doesn’t need much to work. Good tequila, fresh lime, bubbles. That’s the whole point.

But sometimes a tiny twist can take something familiar somewhere new.

For this one, I kegged a full bottle of LALO with filtered lime juice and sparkling mineral water for perfect carbonation, then finished it with a salty cilantro air inspired by the herbs and minerality already living in the drink.

Ranch Water

1 bottle LALO Tequila

6 ½ oz finely filtered lime juice

1 ½ L sparkling mineral water

Salty Cilantro Air

20 g cilantro

450 ml water

50 ml Green Chartreuse

7 ½ g salt

1 g ascorbic acid

5 g sucrose fatty acid ester

Blend the cilantro, water, and salt until smooth. Fine strain through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth. Add the Chartreuse, ascorbic acid, and sucrose fatty acid ester, then blend again. Aerate with an aquarium pump and air stone until a light foam forms.

Serve the Ranch Water over ice and finish with a generous scoop of cilantro air.
