Zutaten

- 2 cans lentils, drained

- 4 lbs boneless chicken thighs, cut into fourths

- 1/2 lb carrots, chopped into chunks

- 8 oz sliced mushrooms

- 1 large onion, diced

- 1 tbsp minced ginger

- 4 cloves garlic, pressed

- 1 tbsp five spice powder

- 1 tbsp brown sugar

- 4 tbsp soy sauce

- 2 cups orange juice

Anweisungen

1. Fry onions and chicken until browned in a stovetop casserole

2. Add garlic and ginger, fry for 1 minute

3. Add five spice, brown sugar and soy sauce, cook for 30 seconds

4. Add carrots and mushrooms

5. Add lentils and stir

6. Add enough orange juice to just cover ingredients

7. Cook for 30 minutes or until desired thickness
