Old Fashioned Blueberry Crisp

1 c flou

3/4 c old fashioned or quick cooking rolled oats

1/2 c packed golden brown sugar

3/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 c butter, chilled and cubed

6 c fresh or frozen blueberries

2 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

ice cream, optional

Anweisungen

To prepare crumb mixture, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and connamon in a bowl. Using fingertips, rub in butter until mixture is crumbly.

Combine blueberries, cornstarch and lemon juice. Spoon into a greased shallow 2 quart (2 L) baking dish. Sprinkle crumb mixture over top.

Bake at 350 for 35 to 45 minutes or until crumb mixture is golden brown and juices are thick and bubbly. Serve warm with ice cream.

Serves 4 to 6.
