I loved tiffin as a child 😍 this is my vegan version and it’s unreaaaal 🤌🏻 it’s basically a fridge cake full of chocolate, biscuits, raisins and nuts 🤤
For the base:
200g vegan butter - unsalted
5 tbsp cocoa powder
4 tbsp golden syrup
100g nuts of choice, lightly toasted (I used a mix of pecan, walnuts, hazelnuts)
200g biscuits of choice - I used ginger nuts and digestives
100g raisins
Pinch salt
For the topping:
200g vegan chocolate (dark or milk)
Anweisungen
Melt the butter, pinch salt, cocoa powder and golden syrup in a sauce pan over a medium heat.
Crush the biscuits into bite size chunks (put them in a bag and bash with a rolling pin)
Stir in the biscuits, toasted nuts and raisins.
Press into a lined 8x8” square tin.
Melt the chocolate and pour over. Place in the freezer to set for an hour. Slice up and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in the fridge 🫶🏻
