Chicken Pie

Puff Pastry
750g Chicken (preferably boneless chicken thighs)
250g Mushrooms
6 Garlic Cloves
1 Large Onion (chopped)
1 Potato (cut in cubes)
2 Carrots (grated)
5 Tsp Cream of Mushroom Soup (or Cream of Chicken)
250ml Fresh Cream
Origanum
Thyme
Black Pepper
Salt
Anweisungen
Fry onions and garlic in the olive oil untill translucent.
Add mushrooms and cook down.
Add the carrots, potatoes, and chicken.
Season with Salt and Black Pepper.
Add the origanum and thyme and stir through.
Cook untill potatoes are soft.
Add in the fresh cream and cook down.
Make a paste with the soup powder and add to pan.
Cook for a further 5 to 10 mins.
Add to a pie dish and cover with the puff pastry, poke holes in the pastry to allow air to escape.
Egg wash and bake at 180°C for 20 minutes until golden brown.
