Homemade sandwich bread

Ingredienser

3 c Flour

1 1/2 tsp sugar

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 tsp yeast

1 1/2 c warm water

1 TBLS olive oil - DO NOT mix into dough, save for later!

Vejledning

Mix together until it turns into a sticky dough ball. Cover with towel and Let rise in warm place until it doubles in size. (Oven with heat OFF)

Use 2 forks to remove from side of bowl. Add 1 TBLS olive oil to coat.

Place in a buttered loaf pan and let rise one more time, about 1 hour or until crowns in pan.

After loaf has risen a second time, bake at 425° for 40 mins on center rack.

Let cool 30 mins before slicing.
