Carrot Pudding

1 1/4 c grated carrot
1 1/4 c grated potato
1 1/4 c flour
1 1/4 c white sugar
1 c raisins
1/2 c currants
3/4 c butter
3/4 tsp cloves
3/4 tsp nutmeg
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1 1/4 tsp soda
1/2 c cherries
1/2 c dates
Vejledning
Grate carrot & potato. Measure & set aside.
Cream butter, add sugar & blend well. Add carrot & 1/2 potato, mix well.
Sprinkle fruits with flour & spices, which have been sifted together.
Dissolve soda in remaining potato & add it last. Mix together lightly.
Pour into buttered bowl.
Tie down & steam for 3 hours.
