Mashed Potatoes

Ingredienser

3 lb bag potatoes (I used russet)

1 cup heavy cream

2 sticks unsalted @KerrygoldUSA butter, melted

1 teaspoon salt

4 cloves garlic, minced

Vejledning

Peel and chop potatoes into cubes. Place in a large pot and cover with water (only fill water to cover the potatoes). Sprinkle a little salt into pot.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cook for ~13-14 minutes or until you can pierce potatoes with a fork easily.

Drain, let cool for a few minutes then pour into a stand mixer with whisk attachment. Add heavy cream, butter, salt, and garlic (and any herbs or other inclusions you’d like!). Make sure to add some sort of splash guard or plastic wrap as it may splash!

Begin mixing slowly, then up speed to high. Mix for a few minutes or until potatoes are at desired consistency. Enjoy!
