Coca Cake

Ingredienser

• 1 cup margarine

• 3 tablespoons cocoa

• 1 cup cola

• 2 cups sugar

• 2 cups flour

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 2 eggs, beaten

• ½ cup buttermilk

• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Icing

• 1 pound box powdered sugar,

• ½ cup margarine

• 3 tablespoons cocoa

• 6 tablespoons cola

Vejledning

Cake:

Heat margarine, cocoa, and cola and bring to a boil. Combine sugar, flour and soda. Pour cola mixture into sugar flour mixture. Add eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Mix well. Bake in a 11 x 15“ greased and flowered cake pan at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

Icing:

Combine sugar and, optional, nuts. Heat, margarine, cocoa, and cola and bring to a boil. Add to sugar-nut mixture. Ice cake while hot. Maybe frozen. Serves 12.
