Chocolate Bark

½ cup unsalted Land O Lakes® Butter

½ cup granulated sugar

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

½ cup chopped walnuts

Vejledning

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Add the Land O Lakes® Butter to a small pot. Melt the butter on low heat before adding the sugar and salt. Cook on low heat for 5-7 min stirring in the same direction every 30 seconds. The butter sugar mixture will slowly turn golden brown and bubble up. Once it turns a glossy amber color, remove from the heat.

Pour the mixture out onto the prepared baking sheet and use a rubber spatula to spread it into a thin rectangle.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips all over the warm toffee and let sit for 5 minutes to melt. Use an offset spatula to spread into an even layer all over the top. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts and let the toffee set until the chocolate is hardened. Crack into pieces and enjoy!
