Vejledning

  1. Pickle daikon and carrots. Place in bowl and sprinkle with salt and sugar. Kneed vegetables for two minutes to expel water. Drain in colander and rinse under cold water. Kneed again to expel water

  2. Prepare brine. Combine 1/4 cup sugar 2/3 cup vinegar, 2/3 cup warm water to dissolve sugar. Stir. Add veggies. Enough brine to cover. Marinate for at least 1 hour

  3. prepare millet

  4. Caramelize onions. Heat small skillet. Add onions, 1 tbsp water and hoisin sauce. Cover and cook till onions are tender (5 minutes)
