Ingredienser

300g onion-tomato masala (page 354)

¼ tsp fine sea salt

30g tomato purée

⅓ tsp granulated sugar

⅓ tsp garam masala (page 356)

¼ tsp ground cumin

100g frozen peas

200g paneer, cut into 2cm cubes

75ml double cream

TO SERVE

Coriander leaves, chopped

Kachumber (page 121)

Vejledning

1. Warm the onion-tomato masala in a medium saucepan over a medium heat. Add the salt, tomato purée, sugar, garam masala and cumin. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 10 minutes.

2. Add the frozen peas and 120ml water, bring back to a gentle simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

3. Add the paneer cubes and stir carefully, so that they don't break up. Allow to simmer gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Add the cream, bring to a simmer and take off the heat. Serve garnished with chopped coriander, with a bowl of kachumber on the side.
