Meat Pie Crust

Ingredienser

2 c flour

1/2 c hot water

2 tsp bakingn powder

1 egg yolk

1 tsp salt

2/3 c shortening

1 tbsp vinegar

Vejledning

Mix dry ingredients together.

Mix boiling hot water, egg yolk and vinegar together until creamy.

Stir in dry ingredients, just enough to blend. This will be very soft. Put in plastic wrap and chill in fridge at least 1 hour before rolling.

If desired, the leftover egg white can be brushed over crust to glaze.
