Creamy Garlic Beef Bowtie Pasta with Parmesan

1 lb (450g) ground beef
12 oz (340g) bowtie (farfalle) pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup frozen peas (optional)
1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add ground beef to the skillet and cook for 6–7 minutes, breaking it up as it browns. Drain excess fat.
Sprinkle in flour, stirring to coat the beef. Cook for 1 minute.
Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and cook for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Add cooked pasta and peas (if using) to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly.
Simmer 2–3 minutes more to blend flavors. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
