Beef Stroganoff Tortellini in Creamy Sauce

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened and cubed
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Cook the beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until beef is browned and onion is soft, about 6–7 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more.
Season: Stir in salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
Add creaminess: Reduce heat to low and stir in cream cheese, sour cream, and beef broth. Stir until smooth and creamy.
Cook tortellini: While the sauce simmers, cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and gently fold into the stroganoff sauce.
Simmer together: Let everything simmer together for 2–3 minutes to meld the flavors.
Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
