Sugar Cookies

Ingredience

1/3 C butter

1/3 C shortening

2 C flour

1 egg

3/4 C sugar

1 T milk

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla

dash of salt

Pokyny

Beat butter and shortening in mixer. Add about half the flour and rest of the ingredients. Beat until thoroughly combined. Add rest of the flour and beat some more. On lightly floured surface roll half of the dough at a time until 1/8" thick. cut with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake for 7-8 mins at 375 degrees. cool cookies on wire rack. Frost with icing.
